To strengthen international cooperation and expand opportunities for students in learning, internships, and career development, Tan Tao University (TTU) held its first official meeting with the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Ho Chi Minh City on July 21, 2026. The meeting marked an important milestone in the University's internationalization strategy while opening up promising prospects for the Korean Language Department, School of Languages.

For the Korean Language Program, Tan Tao University is steadily developing an internationally oriented learning environment through partnerships with leading Korean universities, including Yonsei University, Kyung Hee University, Sogang University, Konkuk University, Yeungnam University, and Sun Moon University, along with many other academic partners.
Through short-term exchange programs with transferable credits, cultural exchange activities, study opportunities in Korea, research collaboration, and industry partnerships, students will gain valuable opportunities to strengthen their Korean language proficiency, broaden their international exposure, and prepare for successful careers amid the growing cooperation between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea.

During the meeting, Mr. Jung Jung Tea, Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Ho Chi Minh City, highlighted the strong development potential of Vietnam's Mekong Delta region and remarked:
"Recently, there has been a significant shift of Korean enterprises toward Southwestern Vietnam, a region with tremendous development potential and abundant human resources."
He also expressed high expectations for Tan Tao University and its Korean Language Program to cultivate high-quality graduates who are not only proficient in the Korean language but also possess a deep understanding of Korean culture and the values cherished by Koreans living abroad. Furthermore, the Consulate General pledged to actively support connections between TTU and Korean universities and enterprises, thereby expanding opportunities for cooperation in education, culture, and economic development.
